All ceramic peaces here was born for the love of Nature. Admiration for materials which you can take from the World and use to create something special. Handmade plates and bowls is turning our everyday life.
Creativity which began with light, white clay and experience with it, turned into experiments to adding black clay in our works. During the production process there is a difference between these two materials. Black clay is more pretentious, because of that it was very interesting to find the best shapes for it.
Glazes which covers our plates are safe for using them with food. Soft and unique texture colors will took your symphaty from the first sight. That‘s how we are trying to make your table even more comfortable and unforgettable.
About Me
Hello, I’m Auguste Maziukaite. Ceramicist and founder of Lipdau. My friendship with clay started already in childhood. Step by step hobby of ceramics began to turn into permanent work and passion for life. Apparently, the importance of the Lithuanian nature was conveyed by all the science of ceramics and the basics of learning here, in the native Country of mine – Lithuania. Also, learning in a private ceramic studio, in the so-called pottery capital – Denmark, developed the pastel colors and light forms skills for me.
I’m seeking not only to cheer people with my works but also to stimulate their creativity, to show that ceramics can be modern, light and bright. Frequently traveling around exhibitions abroad, meeting with creators from all over the world is an integral part of my work. It‘s a miracle that a piece of clay in the hands of a human being can turn into a beautiful piece of art. That generates good emotions, encourages communication and connectivity to one „Makers Movement“ family.

Yes, the dishes can be washed in the dishwasher. Only teaspoons with metal and green colored, white clay plates are recommended to wash by hand.
